As an American whose trying to be as non-biased as possible, our anthem is pretty good but the story behind the words as they were written takes it to an entirely new level. Check out this video for the story of the man who penned the words to the Star-spangled banner! It's such an awesome story! It's called "Star Spangled Banner As You've Never Heard It" on the YT channel mona rose. Highly recommend! Changed my perspective on a song I've known my whole life! On another note, it is kinda weird how all anthems are all in that same kinda genre, like Joel said. Especially since they were written and adopted throughout a vast variety of time periods when music would have been changing rapidly from region to region.
