I work in a Correctional facility and shared a few of Tom's songs with some inmates. They are now hooked and want his albums, as am I. I had a total break in May 2005. For 3 years afterwards I had trouble even walking out my front door. I felt like I was stuck at the bottom of a dark well, and the side were slick and muddy. There was no way out. That other *me* was so loud back then, always telling me what a piece of shit I was and I should just end it all. I finally began intensive therapy and now I am so much better. I dont need meds or even therapy anymore. That voice still does creep up every now and then though. The only way to beat it is what you did, fight it with positive things.
