@David Tuell as a white man he doesn't understand the suffering of many POC which still lasts exists in large quantities in the government itself today, and he is right about the fact that he is not responsible for what his ancestors did. However, he should acknowledge the fact that his ancestors created a system from which he benefits and we suffer. Also, his other videos where he talks about how the Black Lives Matter movement is stupid and trash talks it. You can't say "all lives matter" when we are trying to say that black lives are those that aren't getting attention (if you haven't gotten food at a table, and say that you're hungry, would it make sense for everybody else at the table eating to say "Well, we're all hungry"?). He also doesn't see a problem with Trump or voting for him--Trump is the reason so many of my family back home can't come here because they're labeled as terrorists. How's that fair? Trump is the reason many of my sister's friends had to worry about getting deported, and they have to make sure not to even get pulled over once--which would be a normal situation for us--because that means the end of their stay in America, a country that they came to to escape violence back home. Getting pulled over for a black or brown man means worrying for your life. There are just so many things that he's either ignoring, or is too ignorant to understand.

I'm white, my stepfather is black. When i was a kid i called him the N word quite often. He could have left but he stuck around and always called me his son. One day he broke down in front of me begging me to stop. Idk what happened but it dawned on me that he was human too. Its no excuse but people of other race hurt me and my family and most of my uncles were racists. So I just went with what I saw. This man is still married to my mother and I'm proud to call him my father. He got in a car wreck about a week ago and almost didnt make it. He's in a lot of pain and I wish I could help him. The day he broke down in front of me I swore I would never call him that heinous word again. Almost 5 years later and i can say I stuck to it. His family hates me and I dont blame them. He always calls me his son and a few months ago I apologized for all the times I called him that word. He just smiled at me said it was okay, that I am his son and he forgives me and told me I didn't know any better at the time. I did know better but I just wanted to hurt him. It takes a man to forgive something like that and he did it with out hesitation. I owe him my life and if it weren't for him staying with us I'd probably be dead or in prison. I love you pop's and I'll be home soon to see you. Thank you God for bringing this man into my life.
